Track record

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program to 100M monthly social impressions and the paid ad engine alongside it. The playbook carries over: many creators, one variable per test, losers killed early. Luxury blankets are a different category and I have not run it, so the claims sheet and category rules come first.

Why now

  • 18630

    Reviews on one page

The site shows a count of 18630 reviews. I have not mapped it to a specific product yet. It is the proof creators can point viewers toward.

    Published
  • 775

    A second review pool

Another count on the site reads 775 reviews. Together with the first, it says buyers already talk. Creators add video to that.

    Published
  • $99+

    Free shipping threshold

The site offers Free Shipping on orders $99+. A bundle video can lead to a basket that clears it.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator shows $5.74 today, so every test is aimed at that gap, not at vanity views.

  2. One variable per test

Same Lush Receiving blanket, same offer, one new hook. Seven videos per creator per week gives enough repetitions to read each test.

  3. Losers killed early

A hook that stalls in its first week is cut. Effort moves to hooks that travel, inside the $15,000 ceiling for ten creators.

  4. Claims sheet before camera

Creators quote the site's own wording on softness, fabric and washing. Anything outside the sheet goes to your lead first.

One channel for everything

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. MartaMon 8:30 AM

This week's brief: Lush Receiving blanket, one hook from the library, one variable. Shoot the fabric in hand first, the blanket on a bed second.

  2. JessMon 10:15 AM

Can I say the Bamboni blanket is breathable? A follower asked in the comments and I want to answer on camera.

Yes, use the sheet wording: "Incredibly Breathable: 100% poly microfiber". Nothing about sleep or comfort for babies beyond that.

  3. Report botAppMon 9:00 AM

Weekly report: ten creators live, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, three hooks flagged to cut, two flagged to repeat.

  4. MartaWed 2:20 PM

Draft back to Tom: the opening line makes a sleep promise. Remove it, keep the hand-on-fabric shot and reshoot the first three seconds.

  5. Winner botAppThu 4:45 PM

Priya's Bamboni Mini video passed 100,000 views, all organic. The $50 flat bonus is logged. One bonus per creator per month.

  6. MartaFri 11:00 AM

Weekly check: every live video matches the claims sheet, quotes shipping and prices as the site shows them, and shows no baby left alone with a blanket.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Bamboni Mini, first touch

    Brief 01

    Bamboni Mini, first touch

“Feel this before I say a word.”

Close on a hand moving over the Bamboni Mini fabric, natural window light, no talking for the first three seconds.

  2. Toddler bed make

    Brief 02

    Toddler bed make

“My toddler picked this blanket over every other one.”

Handheld in a real room. Show the Lush Toddler blanket going onto the bed, then the toddler carrying it away.

  3. XL throw on the couch

    Brief 03

    XL throw on the couch

“Here's the XL throw that finally fits the whole couch.”

Wide shot of the couch, then pull the XL throw across it. Keep one angle for the whole video.

  4. Baby gift wrap

    Brief 04

    Baby gift wrap

“This is the baby gift I send when I don't want to overthink it.”

Show the gift wrap step and the finished parcel. Mention shipping and gift wrap only as the site states them.

  5. Robe, door to couch

    Brief 05

    Robe, door to couch

“I put this robe on the second I get home.”

Door in, robe on, one take. Cut to the fabric up close, then end on the creator settling onto the couch.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Luxuriously Soft: 100% poly microfiber to ensure incredible softness and comfort.”, “Incredibly Breathable: 100% poly microfiber”, “Machine washable on cold; hang or lay flat to dry”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Parents posting nursery content

Creators already filming baby gifts, nursery setups and receiving blankets. Lush Receiving and Bamboni fit their feed without a rewrite.

  • Home and decor creators

Couch, bedroom and living room creators. The faux fur throws and XL Throws are the match, and the footage stays warm and visual.

  • University fans

Alumni and students posting game days and dorm rooms. The University Blankets line gives them a product with a school on it.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site. There is no existing roster to start from, so the first ten come from direct outreach.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Fabric on camera

Their past videos show texture and light well. A blanket brand lives or dies on how the fabric looks.

  2. 2Real home setting

They film in a real room, not a studio. Saranoni should look like something you own.

  3. 3Clean claims record

No history of health or sleep promises in their past brand posts.

  4. 4Seven a week

They can deliver seven videos a week without the quality dropping.

  5. 5Owns the hook

They write their own opening line and can explain why it works.

Part 7 of 15

Who we want

  • New parent

Films the first weeks at home and the blankets she reaches for most.

    Likely product: LUSH RECEIVING BLANKETS

  • Gift buyer

Shows the gift she sends to friends and how it arrives, wrapped and ready.

Likely product: BUNDLE OF JOY - Lush

  • Toddler parent

Shows the blanket in daily use: car, couch, bed, the whole routine.

    Likely product: LUSH TODDLER BLANKETS

  • Home and decor creator

Styles couches and beds, and shows a throw in the room it belongs to.

Likely product: GRAND FAUX FUR THROW BLANKETS

  • College fan

Game day and dorm content with a school blanket as the centerpiece.

Likely product: BYU - UNIVERSITY BLANKETS

  • Holiday host

Seasonal tablescapes, living room refreshes and gifts under the tree.

Likely product: HOLIDAY PRINTED FAUX FUR THROW BLANKETS

Left off, every time

Always out: creators who show a baby asleep alone with a blanket, who make sleep or health promises, who name a competitor, or who show a weighted blanket on children the site does not recommend it for.

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Luxuriously Soft: 100% poly microfiber to ensure incredible softness and comfort.”

Grand faux fur throws and queen and king blankets, shown with the fabric in hand.

  • “Incredibly Breathable: 100% poly microfiber”

Ribbed Bamboni receiving blankets and blankets.

  • “Machine washable on cold; hang or lay flat to dry”

The weighted blanket cover, in a care or routine video.

  • “Hypoallergenic glass beads”

The weighted insert only, never the whole blanket.

  • “Removable silky soft polymicrofiber cover”

The weighted blanket cover, in an unzip-and-show video.

  • “Double stitched grid design”

The weighted insert, in a close-up of the stitching.

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say the blanket helps a baby sleep

A sleep outcome, which the site never states.

  • Never say the weighted blanket calms anxiety

A health outcome. The weighted blanket wording stays with the brand.

  • Never say the blanket is safe to leave in a crib

A safety promise the site does not make.

  • Never say the weighted blanket suits any child

Contradicts the site's own age guidance for the weighted blanket.

  • Never say it is the softest blanket on the market

A comparison claim with no source.

  • Never say the whole blanket is hypoallergenic

Stretches a claim the site limits to one part of the product.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Free Shipping on orders $99+

An offer that can change. Confirm before each posting window.

  • Large enough for babies and infants in their first several years

A sizing claim that differs by product. Confirm which products carry it.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: newer creators with a small audience and a good eye for fabric close-ups.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: steady posters whose videos regularly reach a real audience of parents and homes.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: proven reach, strong hooks and a clean record on claims and category rules.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, however many videos pass the line.
  • The bonus is per video: the single video that crosses 100,000 views earns the $50 flat.
  • Only organic views count. Views bought with paid spend do not.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

Read it this way: ten creators, 303 videos a month, 1.8M views. Cost is $10,050, or $5.74 per 1,000 views against $1.00. It closes if 4.2% of videos go viral or the median reaches 21,711.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Pick the organic winners

After a full week, the videos with the lowest cost per 1,000 views and a clean claims check are shortlisted.

  2. Secure usage rights

The creator agrees in writing to paid use of the video before any spend. No rights, no paid test.

  3. Test as an ad

Each winner runs as an ad with one variable changed, against the creator's organic original.

  4. Scale or kill

A winner gets more budget, a loser is killed early. Spend stays inside the ceiling you approve.

From the video to the checkout

  • Bundle videos land on Gifting + Bundles, with MINI & RECEIVING BUNDLE - LUSH at $72.00 as the anchor.
  • Receiving blanket videos land on Receiving Blankets, with LUSH RECEIVING BLANKETS as the lead product.
  • XL and throw videos land on XL Throws.
  • Gift videos mention Gift Wrap at $9.99 and go to checkout, where Free Shipping starts at $99+.
  • University videos land on University Blankets, and the extra processing time stays visible.

Part 15 of 15

Category rules

Baby and home blankets: creator rules

Saranoni sells to parents and to people gifting to parents. The rules protect children first, then the brand's own wording.

  • No baby sleep scenes

No video shows a baby alone asleep with a blanket, and no sleep promise. Show the blanket held, folded, draped on a parent or on a chair.

  • Weighted blanket age

Use the site's wording: not recommended for children 5 and under. Never show the weighted blanket on a young child.

  • Weight guidance

Say weight guidance only as the site does: typically around 10%-12% of body weight plus a pound or two. No medical framing.

  • Hypoallergenic

Say it only about the insert, in the site's words: Hypoallergenic glass beads. Never apply it to the whole blanket or the cover.

  • Offers and prices

Quote shipping and prices as the site shows them, for example Free Shipping on orders $99+. Confirm with your lead before every posting window.

  • Delivery times

University embroidered blankets add extra processing days. Creators say so whenever they show those products, so buyers are not surprised.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
